Windows
Our latest release (3.12.1) for Windows:
To change your default browser in Windows 10, start in the Settings app. In the Settings app, select Apps Default apps. The “Default apps” screen appears. It shows the default apps for email. I'm Greg, an installation specialist and 9 year Windows MVP here to help you. The browser should be able to be installed from the Admin account and work for all Users. Only if you created a MS Family account for the child would it then be restricted. A Standard User should be enough to keep the user from making any changes to your PC. After migrating from Windows 7 Home (Swiss German Version) to Windows 10 I encountered exactly the same issue as described above. I followed the instructions on SFC (no integrity violations found) and dism (100% completed). The issue with Windows 10 always asking for browser confirmation persists.
Windows PortableApp
There is a PortableApp available, but it’s still the previous (3.12.0) release version. It should be updated to 3.12.1 over the next few days:
Note - If for any reason the standard Windows release does not work(e.g. gives an error), try a nightly build (below).
Nightly builds often fix bugs reported after the last release. 😄
